Hi

I have tried a search of existing threads, but can't find this topic in any of the more obvious areas.

We recently spent some time at our apartment near Loz Alcazares  - when we arrived, amongst other stuff in our letter box was the above document.  It is or looks to be a cirularised information leaflet  regarding new traffic laws and regulations.

I have tried, unsuccessfully to make some headway with translation  but  would have thought that if the information is that important there should be some way of having a definitive translation by the issuing authority.

Can anyone guide me to a website that has an English translation of this?  The document gives a website www.dgt.es   but all I can find there is spanish pages.

Hi, If you have or obtain a free Googlemail account  (easy to get, similair to hotmail just do a search on googlemail) the if you open the webb site then it will automatically translate the documement for you into english. I simply clicked onto the site within your posting and I was given the site in english.

Regards

Gordon S

They have a specific website for this:

http://www.reformaleydetrafico.es/

There is no official English version but you can get it translated:

Go to the Google Translate Page

http://www.google.co.uk/language_tools?hl=en

In the "Tranlate a web page" section enter the website url I gave you above and select Spanish to English from the dropdowns.

It won't be the best translation but it will be close.

Justin

Thanks for the information   have read it now and printed out the main points - learned from past experience  ignorance is no excuse   we got a 70€ fine from the Guardia  for overtaking a lorry on the joining lane to a motorway  ( we crossed the solid line about 50 metres before it went to dotted  !!)
