Hi irrespective of Brexit, the rules in Spain have been and are to putchase a car in Spain as a non resident you need to present either a rental agreement or copy of the deeds for your house in Spain. These will be presented to the Traffic Dept and you will be given a permit to drive your car until formalities have been completed. You can drive your car on your UK licence. 

YOU CANNOT legally take that car to the U.K with a U.K licence or are a UK resident except if formally importing and declaring that car at a U.K border post.

 

I have purchased 2 vehicles over 15 years as a non resident.

Sorry for bad  tidings but if its like the UK there is no effective regulatory body supporting non solicitors. Regulatory bodies are there to protect their members as are those in the UK. Try getting them to take action or make recompence for solicitors trading against their rules and you will get nowhere.

I have a pool heated by a ground heat source through a heat exchanger.  It is 5kw output. I have not found it too sucessful as a pool heater because the source heat is lower than the desired temp. Even when it is hot outside it takes days to raise water temp. I am talking only about a source to heat the pool

To register a new  vehicle you need to present NIE copy of your deeds OR rental agreement.  

Make sure they register your vehicle to the address where you live, particularly if your NIE was issued to another address.

9 years ago I purchased a used Escort from a dealer ( costa Blanca) no problems. My NIE was issued years earlier in Fuegirola at an accomodation address. 

2 years ago I traded the car in at a dealership for a new car. The following year I went to the Suma ( tax collection office) to tax the car to find it was not registered to my address. So much dialogue with the dealer, visits to the vehicle licencing office in Alicante without sucess I found someone had entered the address from my NIE instead of my house deeds. It took 2 years to sort out. Luckily I managec to locate the tax office bank detail in Fuengirola to pay by bank transfer. Because it had been incorrectly register at day 1,  no one could advise what to do.
