We can't seem to keep away from this place.  We went there for lunch today....it was bliss.  Felt like we were on holiday sipping cold beer on the seafront....

We ate in El Estribo for the first time a couple of weeks ago.   We had a bit of a stroll round Sabinillas on a quiet Wednesday night and most restaurants had one or two tables occupied.  El Estribo was virtually full, so we had a drink first and then tucked in to the best meal we have had in this area.   Food, service, decor and ambience are all superb and their own label house wine from Argentina is good enough to happily give the Rioja  or Ribera del Duero a miss.    It may not be the cheapest in town but it is outstanding value for money.

Is  El Estribo , the Argentian restaurant next to or near my favouritre coffee shop Miel.  If it is my sister - in - law loves that place but  I have heard it is a bit pricey  ?    How much would a meal cost there.  Maybe we could go there for my husband's birthday ?

Yes it is near to Miel and it is a bit pricey, but well worth it. Booking is essential

Brilliant place and yes you have to book as it's always busy.

Call them on 952 893 788

We went there a couple of weeks ago when the weather was atrocious and it was still full.  It's very popular.  I think their success lies in the quality of the food and the excellent service.

It's not cheap, I went there with Susan on our own one night and had starters, main course, desserts, coffee and a bottle of wine and it came to 90 Euros.

However, when we go with the kids we don't tend to indulge so much and for the four of us it usually comes out at about 60 Euros.  But we always have their wonderful fillet steaks which are the most expensive on the menu.

Highly recommend this place.

Justin

We went there in November, the four of us all ordered what meat we wanted, then decided to have a portion of chips each and garlic mushrooms each, big mistake, one portion would have done the four of us, we left more than we ate, it was fantastic.
