Good surfing beaches?

Anyone recommend a good beach for surfing.

Waves not great in Fuengirola at the moment.

Any good beaches around Tarifa - other years I have gone to Playa de Bolonia (just past Tarifa) but maybe there are other beaches down that way better etc?

          Go a little further along from Tarifa towards Cadiz. At Cape Trafalgar  - Cabo de Trafalgar -(The place of the famous battle)you will find good surfing, kite surfing etc.. The pros surf there. Very strong winds. I think the beach is Los Canos de Meca. It's near Barbate and Vejer.

Thanks - is this beach also good for bodyboards and stand-up surf boards becuase we don't do kite surfing?

          Not 100% sure but I think it is for every type, yup pretty sure it is. There is also a beach at El Palmar next to it (I believe there is a surf school there) and Barbate. Certainly there and Conil further along.

I'll have a good look next time I am along there.
