5 day break with the boys in June

Hi my family have an appartment in Spain and have only been with the missus before. I've wangled a 5 day break with the boys  in June and just wanted to know the best evening entertainment in Duquesa. Have done Porto Banus and could take it or leave it. What other nearby areas are there for nightlife, what is Estepona like and how far is it from Duquesa? Any other info gratefully received.

I'm not a big fan of the port of Duquesa at night and even less keen on Banus.

We went for a Chinese in Duquesa port last weekend and when we left there at 11pm it was very quiet, a stark contrast to a few years ago when it was always kicking.

I really like Estepona.  The port is OK but most people can be found at the far end of Calle Real in the main town until 2am.  Lots of great bars along there.

There are some clubs in Estepona, some very nice, but they tend to be tucked up in side streets so you need to know where they are.

Thanks for your feedback Justin, I was in Duquesa in October and the port was busy, I had a few good nights in some of the bars there but there are no nightclubs but I had a good time anyway. I would imagine in June it would be busier still.

How far is Estepona in a cab from Duquesa and what nationalities are mainly in the bars there?

I don't go to clubs these days but when I went to one in Estepona last year there were only Spanish in there.

Estepona is about 10 minutes away by car.
