Hi all,

good news from my agent, bless her little heart, she tells me that my villa 13.27 has an electric meter and that water is connected. She also says that these would not be connected if the certificate of habitation had not been issued.

So completion any day now.

Roger & Annemarie.

Hello Everyone From Rochdale UK.

First post to this site, not suprised to read all the sad notes about GrupoMasa, we have bought a property on 14 development and its just the same problems for us, we came out in September everything had been signed up but when we got to the property to stay for a week we had no water, the electric was builders supply. We would 'nt of been too bothered but we have 2 babies and having no water was a real nightmare. Eventually they managed to dig the pavement up and lay the pipes, yep, there was'nt even any pipes to the property, but by Thursday we had water, we could flush the toile, and by god it needed it.

The site  office has always been an absolute waste of time especially the young spanish guy there who cant speak any English, he's just having a laugh. Anyway we came back  over in October and to our horror we had no electric, we complained and they gave us a bungalow to stay in at Horrraddaddaa, you know the place the Sh,t hole by the sea. We stayed there a week and didnt stay in our property at all, that youg Spanish guy in the sales office told me the electric might be on in the new year. We are coming over again in Feb so fingers crossed this time we will be able to make a brew and flush the toilet before it smells like Glastonbury.

Best Wishes everyone.

Gary & Clare

Hi, Gary and Clare

so what do you know about Horadada?  We always think it looks really nice, the properties there are so expensive though.  Do you know something we don't , as that is probably the nearest beach for SG so it would be nice to know what is wrong with it.

Sorry to hear about your experiences Gary and Claire, but sad to hear your comments about your stay.

Each to his own I suppose.  Shame that negative comments like that give a place a bad name ..............if only we knew which place Gary and Claire are talking about.  Pilar de la Horadada or Torre de la Horadada or Masa's hotel in Campoamor????

The township of Pilar has three excellent beachside villages: Mil palmeras, Torre de la Horadada and El Mojon.  All front beautiful white sand blue flag beaches and are excellent places to stay , especially with the marina and lovely square at Torre de la Horadada.  Yes, it is expensive to buy there, but it is worth it and I and many others love the area.  I hope this hasn't put people off visiting them.   Don't miss it Rang - I'll be happy to show you around anytime.

Vip Supporter

There is also an excellent market every Monday morning in Pillar, esay to find behind the Town Hall

This is a proper Spanish market with low prices and  a vast selection of fresh products including fresh fruit and vegetables but watch out for the spanishladies with their wheelie trolleys

Also good restaurants on the front in Milpalmerous but you have to arrive earky to park close to the beach in the summer
