WANTED: Small Gas Fridge - Eastern Andalucia

Hi folks

Just got back in from a great week in sunny Spain!

Straight off- We've uploaded about 50 photos, so have a look.

We got onto the sight no problem and drove around it for 20 minutes before caling into the sales office and speaking to a very helpfull Hosea who took us a tour of the Eagle show house and Sue and Micheals propertys as requested (I will post the photos shortly guys)

The site looks basically finished, 99% of the phase is finished the main bulk of the workers were all getting stuck into M21-22-23. They were well on there way to completing these and If youve bought one I would be quite happy with current progress.

The other work on the site was taking place near the shops (which are very nearly finished), there were guys pulling through the wires for connecting up the homes. Our own house M16-20 has this already done and I think is just awaiting final wiring.

The green area was a bit dissapointing as it hasnt changed at all, still rough and no planting but the footpath around it is done.

The areas that have been tarmaced still require the topcoat.

Hosea in the site office confirmed that the certificates for habbitation have been applied for, he told us that the electrics should be connected in the next two weeks (we saw this happening). He also said that November was the latest date of handover.

I didnt get around the course area, but we did visit the golf course at La Finca, wow its gona be great at SG!

Overall a little disappointing as there seems so little left to do and still no keys BUT it was just just enough to keep our spirits up until the letter arrives.

did you travel on m11 at all?

Yes we did, you are directly behind us(M16), I think m11 and m12 had tarmac down, not totally sure but we deffinatley drove up your street. I think it may have stopped at the top of the row toward M10.

Thanks so much, Chris & Sandra, your message has really lifted our spirits! We are on M54, which is on the opposite side of the road to M11, so reading that you thought M11 was tarmacced got our hearts beating that much faster. We are moving to Spain to rent a house in Rojales early August while our SG Eagle is made ready for completion. (M54 No. 23). So we'll be visiting SG sometime in August ourselves and will report back. The pics looked great you posted, by the way. Thanks again,

Sorry, but M11 isn't tarmaced. We walked through the dust on the 10th July. It is ready for tarmac, but we didn't see even one tarmac truck on the site and we did drive round several times and looked at several houses,  the painters were in the houses opposite and we had a query about the bathroom so they let us in. That particular house was not finished only the bath installed but no other bathroom fittings.

Does anyone else feel like they are now buying a second hand house, ours was finished completely in October when we bought it and already having looked at some other properties they are already out of date especially the furniture.
