Hi all

Just recieved this email from Masa regarding release dont know if its rubbish or not make your own mind up, i personally  think it is rubbish.

Dear Mr. Byron,

The property Albatros 15-21 is finished and it is also furnished. The most important works that are being done now are the infraestructure ones, because it is required that most of it be finished or nearly finished. The fact that although the infraestructure works are very advanced and the first handovers will not take too long, we still have not been informed about an approximate date. We have been informed that the first poligonos to be handed over will be M-13, M-14, M-15 and M-16.
As soon as we are confirmed about the completion date for your property, we will inform you.

Yours sincerely,

Customer Service
Grupo MASA

Hi Byro,

Sorry to pose the same old question, but, is this email from MASA International, or GrupoMasa, the builders of Sierra Golf?

Regards,

John B.

Hi Byro - I agree it's rubbish, just like everything else we've been told.  My son's house is 15-19.  He needs to sell due to changes in circumstances.  He has  buyer ( ??? ).  Masa refused to let him re-assign the contract a year ago, as the house was ready for handover.  Yeah Yeah..........  I'm so angry that they can treat people like this with no checks and balances to stop them.  The infrastructure is a legal requirement - to be in place before the houses are built.  I've given them the benefit of the doubt for too long.   I think the legal changes forcing them to complete at least part of the golf course before building the properties has wrong footed them, as has the council making them complete the infrastructure before handover.  They have previously sold developments as on a golf course when the courses were not built for years after people had moved into their homes.  All of this is undoubtedly good for buyers in the long-term,  but extends the timing of the eventual completion to way beyond the contractual agreements.  Masa - Procobar are negligent and have us all dangling on a string.
