Bank has been made to re-Imburse losses

Does anyone know if the article in the Daily Mail online on May10th help us ?

Hi . 

Myself , husband and another family purchased ( put a big deposit down ) on a apartment at Duquesa fairways in 2006 . 

We were waiting over a year for the then mayor to sign the property off . We soon found out that Jale had gone into liquidation. After much deliberation and advice from our Spanish solicitor, we decided to walk away and lost £70,000. 

I have read in the Mail newspaper today that the Spanish Supreme Court has made a new ruling that holds the developers liable and instructed that people such as ourselves should be reimbursed. 

Does anyone have any information that might be of some use to us ? 

Do the Jale developers still exist ? 

After all these years it's a long shot but this has given us a tiny bit of hope of getting something back . 

We wondered the same . 

We've been waiting for some good news since 2008 !

We are just in the process of gathering all of our old paperwork ... From 2004 onwards !! 

fingers crossed , we might actually have some chance . 

Jules, which Solicitor are you using ?   Our Spanish Solicitor took £1600 off is several years back, took our case to Court and made a claim against the developers.  He now says ( as we all know ) that they are bankrupt and we've got no chance of a result.

ive sent them the article in the Daily Mail, but their comment was " yes but that was a different development"
