STEER CLEAR FROM ALDEA - KEEPING BG MONIES!!!!!!!!!!!

After months of trying to get through to Aldea Advisors last week decided to contact Caja Madrid directly.  Found their details online as receptionist at Aldea could not help with contact details for bank. 

I had my 2nd Bank Guarantee with this Bank and should have received money in Mid March 2009, even though BG was executed in December 2008.

To my amazement new bank manager at Caja Madrid informed me my BG had been cancelled 19th January 2009.  Cancelled meant they had sent money for my 2nd BG on this date to an Aldea account.

Infuriated i mentioned to manager i had not received any money and therefore Aldea still had money.  Manager decided to help and chased up with Aldea and Huma.

Eventually getting through to both parties he told Huma what Aldea were doing (not that it matters much -THEY ARE ALL IN IT TOGETHER!!).  Huma would make sure Aldea released monies to Benificiary, myself.

Carmen Gutierrez (lawyer at Aldea requested proof as suppossedly she was unaware of such ongoings - B***SH*T) pardon my French or should i say Spanish.

I called Bank Manager this morning and he was amazed they had not contacted me atleast.  I told him nothing phases me anymore, especially with the likes of my so called lawyers.

I decided to call Aldea to let them know i now know what has been going on.  Still receptionist would not put me through, i shouted and screamed that she must put me through to manager.  Reply not allowed to do so and then began in a patronising manner to say she understood.

I told her fine if she would not let me through then tell them from me that i would be seeking another Law firm to sue Aldea and that if Aldea became bankrupt in the near future i would sue each individual involved in this. 

I did ask her when would Aldea Advisors close, her reply "Probably when the Police arrive", laughing.  From this i gather they all know what they are doing is illegal.

I later e-mailed Aldea they would have to pay monies back immediately plus interest at 6%, from the day they held monies till the day they make payment.  If they do not i shall sue them. 

I have also sent an e-mail regarding Power of Attorney, which they have, stating they no longer have the right to exercise Power of Attorney.  I was informed to do this by Notary Public here in the UK.  This is a formality, but could not stop them if they wanted to carry on. They then would be committing another offense along with the one they already are doing - STEALING!!

Names of people at Aldea Advisors whom we can never reach:  Carlos Valderama -Manager / Carmen Gutierrez -Lawyer / Carmen Rueda - assistant manager (who used to be our only point of contact and now conveniently is on leave as she is expecting and will soon return in December 2009).

Currently I am preparing all documents again and will be paying for another Power of attorney.  I have been in contact with Patricia and Maria from Costa Luz Lawyers, they seem to be recommended on this site. 

I will only say one thing get far away as possible from ALDEA ADVISORS - worse than a packet of fags.

If anyone as any more information that can help, i.e. any other decent lawyers, please let me know or just post on this site.

I am unable to send you a personal email. We are in exactly the same position as you found yourself, we have 1st bg with Banco Valencia and 2nd bg with Caja Madrid and Aldea have had our POA and instructions to execute them since July last year and we too cannot get to speak to anyone nor will they reply to emails. Would you please tell us the branch of the bank  and the name of the person that you spoke so that we can ring them also to see if Aldea are also holding on to our money?

Are we missing something?  We are also with Aldea and just at the point of sacking them for not doing anything but had no idea that they were likely to go bust!  They also have our POA and original BG which we want back to pursue ourselves.  The rest of our money around 43k is not covered by a BG so we are likely to lose that.  Could you let me have the address, email and telephone numbers you are using as I was told that their office in Vera is now closed so no idea where to contact them now.  It sounds like we also need to cancel our POA that they hold also and as you say employ another solicitor to act for us.

Would be grateful for any assistance you are able to offer.

We went out to almeria last week to change our solicitors, they informed us to contact Aldea by Phone and to inform them we would be coming to there office in Torrevjeca the next day for our files, please close them. 

Our new solictor told us that we may have a fight, but under NO circumstances leave the office without our files, if they refuse contact the Police. He also told us not to pay any monies for them closing the files.

We arrived the very next day and only got has far as the receptionist, who had our files ready, we signed a form which had all paperwork and BG,s listed and to cancel power of attorney  and any future dealings with Aldea. We was in the office 15 mins.

We didn't have any hassle from them, but we were ready for a fight with them.

Just to let you know that we contacted both Caja Madrid and Banco Valencia to see if our BG's had been executed and cheques issued to Aldea, I spoke to Miguel at Caja Madrid and he called Aldea, and I quote ''robbers and pirates'. Both banks are going to investigate our BG's and I have to ring them back on Monday and they should know by then if the money has been issued. So will keep you posted.

Hi, yes stay clear of aldea and get another lawyer.. i got 1st payment back from aldea in november of last year.. they promised second payment in april this year,, after numerous phone calls the receptionist told me carmen rodregas had gone on maternity leave and i should get some1 else to represent me in a cocky manner at that!! so i was recommended a lawyer called gongalez raya.. who is now acting for me// he has since told me that aldea had my cheque. he is in the process of finding out who got it..when and how? i was totally shocked at this awful behaviour of people who are suppose to be working for me and had no idea they could do such a thing.but i am stupid i suppose. gongalez says i should take them o court.. and if found guilty they will go to jail.. i told him i dont want any1 going to jail for me..i only want my cheque back!! and i cant afford to throw any more money away..i have to know there is a good chance i will win the case.. then recieve it!! so watch this space..  best of luck every1 in same position as me..maureen

Hi everyone, As I have said before I have been fortunate enough to have my BG,,s encashed by my new  solicitor Maria at CostaLuz Lawyers.  When I requested to Aldea to send originals of my BG,s they said you must send us some Euros right away and we must act on this immediately, I said no I want them to send them to my new solicitor. They replied to that that they wanted more euros to close my file, which I refused, nothing happened for a week or two, then Maria e.mailed me to tell me she had secured my originals, free of charge and they would be in her office in a matter of days. How pleased I am that it worked out the way it did, it looks as though I just got in in time according to the stories going round now about Aldea, which are beyond belief.

I myself have given up on houses in spain and going to buy a Lodge home on a new site at Alcala de Xivert which is between Vinaros and Castellon on Costa del Azahar, at the moment there are no lodges sited here, the deal is the first 10 units on site get half rental for life €1800 per year the site is opening in Sepetember the electricity is on and waiting for water  I have ordered a Willerby Boston (all units on this site will be made by Willerby in the uk and transported to Alcala) the sited price for the Boston 40ft x 20ft double unit Lodge home to residential spec, sited is about £68,000 Single units can be purchased from as low as £50,000.

I have today been told by Caja Madrid that they sent Aldea a cheque on 20m May 09 and by Banco Valenciatthat they transfered our money to Aldea on 12 February 2009, WE HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING!!!!!!. It would seem that Aldea have gone into some sort of administration as I was given another number by them this morning and it is Carlos Conesa Lawyers in Murcia 0034 968 906 837 which is apparently trying to sort out Aldea's mess and they have advised me to get another lawyer who speaks both Spanish and English, give them any documentaion that I have and get them to telephone Carlos Conesa.

Will update when I have further news

Sorry for the late reply.  Today I  received a call from Miguel (New Manager at Caja Madrid - 0034 965 982 109).  He has spoken to a Lawyer, whom also does legal work for Caja Madrid.

I have been assured by Miguel he is very trustworthy and is a good Lawyer.  He has been told what has been going on and is very confident for us.

Currently i am awaiting this lawyers details, which i have requested today.  I shall either decide to go with this firm or Maria from costa de la luz lawyers - (0034 -956 099 906).

I will keep you informed as soon as i here anything.

Hi , had a reply from miguel gonzalez raya.. lawyer who is representing me from now on. aldea have a lawyer representing them now called carlos contesa.. miguel is triying to ring him yesterday to find out if this is so, but he wasnt in..so he has left a message for him to get in touch.. miguel is representing myself and a few others..and appears that there will be more wanting his help..so we could infact do a group action against aldea in the courts which would keep the costs down.. he has succeeded in getting alot of people there money back in the past.. so if anyone wants to speak to him i will post his details and telephone number, he is a very nice guy and speaks good english,  i find it easy to speak to him and he always replies to my emails and phone calls..which is very reasurring for me. bye for now

Has anyone actually got any of there money back from aldea after them thieving it from us using our bank guarantees from the banks? if so how? when? and who or by what method did you do so? this is a spiders web and i was told today it could be a long process to achieve a satisfactory result!! which  i am not happy with.. any information much apprieciated.. regards maureen

i've payed them 1250 euro's all together and they have done naff all for me .

i suggest if anyone is with aldea you get straight over there asap get your bg's before they go to the wall

Hi all, my lawyer informed me yesterday that he has a meeting with carlos contesa later next week an he will be handing over my documents from aldea.. so that is a bit of good news.. but he also said that it could be a long process to be resolved but would have a satisfactory conclusion.. i didnt like the sound of that at 1st but i suppose he is trying to pre warn me..  i wish i had known all this 3 months ago at least,  i would of gone out myself , and come away with what was rightfully mine from aldea and the banks, and i wouldnt of left until i had got it.. regards maureen

Hi all, news today from miguel my lawyer that carlos contesa who he was suppose to meet and hand over my documents made his excuses and didnt turn up so miguel went to torreveca office himself and got them from tatiana.. there was no documention on who or when my money was taken from bank of valencia?? for she said accounts department was closed but would send relevant on to him on monday..{but doubt this will happen} also carlos contesa said aldea have alot of creditors so every thing should get sorted out {doubt this will happen either without a court case?} so he has sent me documents  for general power of attorney for court proceedings. i cant understand how anyone other than me could of got bank of valencia to release money or cheque other than me..for cheque should of had my name on it, like the one bank  popular released to me..which was sent through the post!! i think they should be held responsible for this surely.  does anyone know how this was allowed to happen?keep you posted on what is happening next. regards maureen.
