Duke of Palma was given 5€ million mortgage on salary of 36,000€

It has been revealed that La Caixa granted Infanta Cristina's husband Iñaki Urdangarín a 5 million euro mortgage in 2004, despite the fact that King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía's son-in-law was only declaring an annual salary of 36,000 euros (a monthly gross salary of 3,000 euros).

Amancio Ortega Foundation donates 20 million euros to charity

Unemployed to clear up after Valencia wildfires

A total of 450 jobless people from the towns and villages affected by the Cortes de Pallás and Andilla wildfires this summer have been contracted to work with the authorities from now until next May to clean up and help regenerate these burned forest areas.

Number of millionaires set to double

Lorca mayor puts flood damage at over 100 million euros

Speed camera catches hearse at 187kmph

A speed camera on the A-66 Autovía de la Plata near Mozárbez (Salamanca) has caught a hearse doing 187 kilometres per hour, more than double the legal speed limit for this type of vehicle.

Cash bonuses for doctors who cut down on prescriptions and tests
