Checking Car for Embargos etc

I am about to buy a car privately and wondered if there is a way of finding out if the car is ´clean´ ie:that it has no debts against it as i believe any debts attached to the car pass to the new owner?

I´m also told that if the previous owner had not paid there social security or local rates on their house this can also be attached to the car and passed over to the new owner.

It is best to contact SUMA yourself to find out if there is any outstanding debt or get a Gestor to do it for you if you're not confident enough.

Always use your OWN Gestor and not the one that the seller wants to use, as the buyer always has this privilege.

That way you know things are as they should be.
