Dancing schools

Can any one help.....

Back in the Uk my four daughters all danced and were luckily enough to perform in the famous Blackpool Tower Ballet (my eldest for 10 years).  Now we are settled they are wanting to continue with their dancing but I am struggling to find any information re dance classes.  We are looking at Ballet, tap, modern and Jazz.  As a last resort they may do Flamenco but it isn't really what they want to do..

We live in Cuevas de San Marcos and if the classes are on a weekend we can travel as far as Fuengirola, Malaga, Cordoba.  Other places near us is Rute, Lucen and Antequera.

Any information would be greatly received..

My youngest daughter does,tap,modern,ballet and flamenco.

I am afraid that this is in Algorfa, CB, so this may not help you geographically but may reassure that there are spanish dance schools that offer what you are looking for.

Jayne Melville teaches all sorts of dancing and to very high standards. There may be an offshoot in Fuengirola but check with her. Have fun!!

If any of you guys looking for dance schools within the Quesada area there is one at Howards Gym now.

I beleive it is run by an English lady who was a proffesional dancer.

If anyone wants directions it is dead easy to find.....

hey georgia, do you have any more info on the dance schools in algorfa and quesada?

i know your post was a while ago and i just wondered if thse groups were still running and if so where they take place.

In the UK they have a very good name for themselves and I have only heard good things about the ones here too. I know they are in Fuengirola and Marbella and also Gibralter I think? They do everything,including acting and singing lessons. I am sure I have the owners contact details somewhere as I was going to go and work for them before I fell pregnant( no one needs a rolly polly dance teacher!) Let me know if you are still looking and i'll find the details.

Hi All,

I see there are many of you looking for dancing schools for your children. My name is Lia Mullins, I am a former British open, USA international dance champion. I teach Ballroom and Latin American - just like 'stritly come dancing' and 'mira quien baile'.

I run classes in Sotogrande, Estepona, Marbella, Fuengirola and Benalmadena. I have a new class starting in Swing dance studio (beside the castle) in Fuengirola every saturday from 10 am - 12pm . classes start there in march.

We are currently looking for more children and boys to take part in our summer shows which will run all summer long across the costa del sol.
