Hi

Can anyone tell me if you need a licence for a small boat and if so, how to obtain one? Apart from mooring fees and insurance are there any other costs involved?

I will ask a harbourmaster for you and see what i can find out, but only if I can come on the boat with you!

The two best days of boat ownership are the day you buy it and the day you sell it! If it helps to keep and maintain a 36ft power cruiser - budget 1000 euros a month plus fuel.

Thanks Pooley

Was thinking along the lines of a small speed boat actually. Do you need a licence for those? But I think we may be looking at a pedalo if they want those sort of prices  . What do you think I am a table dancer?

Anything you don't have to moor is a bonus! Some of the powerful jet skis can be ski'd from - auditions for table dancers Monday to Friday at 9pm!!!

That's a thought,

But  do you think a pedalo will fit in the boot?

Auditions you say??? These days I would have to pay them

Very True Jane,

The last time I went table dancing I got thrown out by bouncers, especially when followed by involuntary break dancing

Not to mention Top Rank,Titos, Bakers Row and the Pepper Pot Jane  I was allowed in Papagios only coz I worked there

Now before we get told off for thread drifting, do we need a licence for a boat or do they just let us loose to wreak havoc?

Hi Iain,

very interesting read. Thank you very much. I am guessing that it could be situated over the other side of Santiago near the La Manga Marina. Will look out for it next visit.
