renewing spanish driving licence.

Hi, Just discovered that my licence has expired. I shall be making an appointment for medical/photo. My question is am I required to go to Trafico for any part of the renewel process.. thanks

There are quite a few places  that do the whole thing for you. The medical, the photo, complete the application form and take your old licence and give you a paper one (only valid in Spain) until the new one comes through. No need to go to trafico for anything.

I don't know where there is a place like that in your area but we have them in virtually every town around here. Normally a clinic of some such. A quick Google gives me Clinica San Francisco in the centre of Fuengirola that does it all.
