In Spain many Brits put down monetary deposits based on an artist impression and a load of salesman’s persuasive pipe dreams, little did they know it was all a game of chance where the developers, banks and the Spanish justice system would turn their backs on them. Brits thought they were doing business in the UK and would have protection and consumer rights.
A painful lesson, but it still continues.
