Motor homes

Hi 

please bear with me as new to forum if I get etiquette wrong.

We are planning to move to Spain on a permanent basis and have spent most of the last 8 months flying or driving to and from Spain we have d video to save money and buy a motor home for our travels, is it best to buy in Spain or uk ? 

Any help information would be gratefully received.

If as you say you are going to live in spain then as a resident you will not be allowed to drive a vehicle which does not have Spanish registration.   From all accounts importing a vehicle to spain can be complicated and expensive thus I would say buy here 

No doubt you understand that if you move after 31/10/19,  and U.K. has left the EU and there has been no agreement then things will be a lot different from what they are now. Of course at present no one KNOWS what that will mean

I seem to remember from a few posts year ago...that Brit (RHD) motor homes couldn't be registered in Spain because the door to the home would open into the road. Worth checking up on.
