I have been resident for many years on costa blanca where I had a business.Am now retired & wanting to invest in a property further south whilst perhaps keeping my present home still.I could divide my time between the two.At present I live in a very nice small town,mostly Scandinavian which has all facilities,supermarkets,schools,buses,clinics,the little coastal train,coach to the airport etc.So I am looking for somewhere that can give me similar contacts(Scandinavians not necessary!).I have given up my car because I think older people need to learn to do without before they are forced to & anyway it is an expensive item,so a town situation is good.However,as I have only ever passed through the area,my one stop was Granada,I am quite unfamilar with anywhere.Before I visit,I would like to have your views on possible places.I`ve given up sunbathing on the beach but easy access to the coast would be nice.Please though,do not mention somewhere up in the mountains .My business was outdoors in the foothills of Puig Campana,which was necessary,but now I prefer a more urban environment.Hope you can help.
