Anyone found a free proxy that seems to work OK? we are in a hotel with good wifi and just wanted to catch up on some bits if we could,

Zenmate for Chrome. Works on other browsers as well. Just set the country for UK and away you go.

Zenmate doesn't appear to want to download satisfactorily to an iPad.

Because it's Apple. Zenmate works for MS laptops and PCs, Hola works on Androids and iN Touch for Apple.
