Torrevieja Tapa Trail

Hi, We are in Playa Flamenca from 25th November, and have been reading about the Tapa trail that runs from the 22nd in Torrevieja. Does anyone know where you purchase the tickets from for the event, or how it is run exaclty???. Is there a list of participating restaurants published anywhere? Really looking forward to giving it a try...

Hi Jayne and Ray - the tapas trail is brilliant, the only problem for me is I have to drive home, so can´t partake fully of the drink bit!

If the system is the same as before, then there will be publicity leaflets available.  I haven´t seen one yet but they do seem to publish things at the very last minute here.  It should also be in the local free press, or in the tourist office.

There are no tickets, you simply go to the participating establishment and they will have two special tapas on sale - one modern and one traditional.  It is a great way to try out new places that you have never even heard of before.

Hi Claire, thank you for the information. Sounds like it will be fun. We tried the tapas in august at Elche, at the fioreworks fiesta. That was also 2 euro for tapas and a drink. The food was excellent. I'm sure I will be the driver, so I will enjoy the food!!
