We moved over in July this year, we asked for advice on here and were told about Coles of Banbury,  they were brilliant, very reasonably priced, they knew exactly what they were doing, very professional, I would recommend them very highly.

120 euros per cubic metre sounds very expensive!

I'm not 100 percent certain but I think Coles was £75 per cubic metre

That's the sort of figure I would expect, and is similar to other companies.

Have a look at David Dales at York, we have used previously and know many others who have used recently. Very reliable and a good price.

Hi

We are moving to Mazarron in July and looking for removal companies.

Coles and UK-Spain-UK seem to have some good reviews on here so will contact them but does anyone else have experience of these companies good or bad

Thanks in advance

I have used Coles a few times no problems, and the price was good also.

Here's some advice:

  • Browse their website. Does it look professional? Are there photos of real people and trucks or is it more like a copy and paste effort? Any names or just people smiling? Check who owns the domain. Don't get confused with similar sounding company names or websites.
  • Check their company number (CIF in Spain if it's a limited company). This is easy with Google. Has the company many listings because of bad debts with the Tax Office? If it's a man and white van then you're wasting your time. These pop up from nowhere and vanish when they run into problems, especially on Facebook.
  • Get a detailed written quotation with a breakdown of what is and isn't included. If there's no mention of VAT or IVA then ask if it's included. Is it well presented or does it look like it's been prepared in 2 minutes? Ask what type of insurance they're offering? Fully comprehensive cover is never free by the way. Avoid paying in cash. Ask for a bank account number. Insist on a survey (house visit) unless you can provide a list with measurements.
  • Verify if they're members of any reputable trade association such as BAR or FEDEM and take a look at their premises because they could be middlemen or brokers. Don't rely on emails or phone calls (especially to mobile numbers). Do their vehicles look presentable?

Good luck!

Just call this man with van. He is nice, helpfull and cheap.

0783 555 1730

He charge around 70 euro cents per km. He is loading and unloading stuff for you.

He is doing door to door service, so you dont have to worry about moving your stuff to the other vans.

Good luck
