No Claims Certificate?

I have Juan's e-mail but as yet he has not replied to any correspondence.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Has anyone had any of their snagging done?

I too have emailed many times (in Spanish) and to date have not received a reply...I kind've put it down to workload on Juan's part, as he seems a good guy and is very wiling to oblige once you are there. 

he has replied to one or two of mine but never carries the conversation through to the end.  So the e-mail is correct and he does receive them.  He laughed about my bad spanish writing when i was out there, but never explained why he never replied to my reply, if you know what i mean.  I've given up emailing him unless it is to state dates for access.  At least i know he does read them, just doesn't reply very often 

Dad came back yesterday paul and they had started a bit.  They were doing Romanas Balcony that they promised before she went home on tuesday.  He is still saying that they are being done from now and over the next few weeks but its difficult once you get home and can't keep an eye on things isn't it.  Has your agent not been able to get anything done on yours yet then?

I agree that Juan is a good guy, but maybe they should have someone in place who speaks good English to help him.  This of course is on the assumption that the majority of purchasers are English.

Many moons ago I was told that phase one was sold mainly to the Spanish. However, that was a long time ago and a lot of water has run under the bridge.

Suzanne, I am interested in finding out who supplied your satellite package, how much it cost and if you would recommend them? This is top of my to do list for next week.

i shopped around a lot for this and got so many varied results.  In the end i used skydoctor, who were recommended by a friend who lives in puerta banus.  They knew exactly what they were doing and all the problems the other companies were finding, they managed to get the job done and explain things properly.  I have a direct number for the guy Joseph who did it.  I think it would be wise to go direct to him now he knows the site and lay out.  He said he would return and sort out others if needed and i got the impression it would be cheaper from him direct.  Also, up to 7 others can connect to one dish if you buy a big enough connection.  The one problem was that access points to the roof are in the centre of each block and wiring is done in a way that depending which floor and where your apartments are situated, there is a lot of wire to pay for.  I had to pay extra for the extra wire as i wanted the high quality one due to interference etc. it was about an extra 80 euros for the extra wire. My picture is crystal clear and no interference apart from when it was thunder and lightning. I can give you his direct number by pm no problems.  I arranged for him to come out the morning after i arrived and he did turn up, on time and did the job in a couple of hours.  You will need Juan to get access to the roof tho.

just put a few more pictures on.  think i have put some on of every pool.  three complete and looking great.  the final one just needs filling and cleaning now.  that only takes couple of weeks as i watched them do ours.  grounds around it are pristeen tho.  hope i got your apt on some alan

Suzanne - thanks for the photos of Phase 4 (ours is ground floor corner, left hand side of "entry"/"hut", and unrendered). Pretty much as 12 months ago but no surprise there - it would be nice to know from MRI that we are still on their books and they are "working" for us but.....no surprise there either.

We are expecting a snagging company to go in,starting Monday to clear the problems on our snagging list.

We visited the site last week, the road has been dug out about a metre deep and drainage etc is in place, however there is no evidence of road laying materials, equipment or workers. You can get up the road only to the sales office  the bit dug up is between there and the junction with phase 2

It was like that the first week in January.

Thanks for info on road. Who else is waiting for completion because of this? Have any of you tried contacting anyone? We have been in touch with our lawyer asking if she can put any pressure to bear-waiting for a reply. Also tried our Estate Agents but they say there is nothing that they can do. It's very frustrating!! I'm beginning to think that all the other phases will complete before we do.

We saw the road in April as you describe Bob. We were told by the Prienesur sales guy that it would be another three months but there was no sign of work being done. Our solicitor was sceptical about the three months and finds them frustrating to deal with. Our impression is that money is the issue - Cajasur/Prienesur do not think or act like a developer wanting to finish a project in order to collect money and go onto the next. Instead they are doing the bare minimum at their own pace which is maybe why only a small section of road has been started. The social housing and medical centre could be a big white elephant for some time to come - there is a huge deep hole full of water near the footbridge.

The cheering thing is that other blocks have started to complete so maybe we will too eventually......
