Photo's are always a nice reminder as it's been over a year since I've been out.

"Happy New Year" to everyone - been a bit pre-occupied getting to work through the snow last week with loads to do after a week or so off. My new years resolution is to finally come to a decision on the way forward in buying that/a property in Duquesa.

Hope to get out there in the Spring once the snow has gone, although I understand that it's been 20 degrees in Malaga area.

Hi All

It's some time since I posted but have kept in touch with developments. I understand that Phase 4 is now as was "your" position some time ago - pretty much complete but no licence! - any recent photos would be appreciated. Like Alan we will have to come to a decision soon as to the way forward - the developer is looking to relocate us to Phase 1 and I guess it will all come down to the pennies. although there are a lot of properties for sale in the area so who knows where we'll end up. Planning to come out sometime in the new year to check out options and make a decision. Looks like you are all really pleased with things now - give or take a few frustrating issues.

Anyway, have a great Christmas and New Year either out there or at home, Oh, and "happy birthday" Tracey!

Thanks Sue and Dave for the photos of Phase 4 - quite happy to wait at present although I'm quite jealous hearing all the stories from Duquesa. Still, the road will soon be finished, the euro will weaken against the pound,  property prices will drop (sorry but it may well be the only way I get out there now) and it will be a prosperous New Year - well, it is Christmas!!

Just a quick note to all for the enthusiasm lately as things still seem to be moving ever so slowly especially with Phase 4. Please don't tell me it's all cancelled - it's not been good lately as I broke my hand, didn't get out to Duquesa in October, euro is so strong etc etc. Can't wait for someone to say the road's complete otherwise I won't be meeting up with anyone until 2010!! It's good to hear it's all worth it from those that are in - keep posting to cheer me up.

And finally, a "happy birthday" to Tracey I believe!!

Tracey - thanks for the interesting read.

It's good to know that you've not forgotten me in Phase 4 in all the excitement. I'm feeling quite left out now that everyone is getting in and sorted. My brother was out there a couple of weeks ago and said things seem to be moving at a pace now so this time next year maybe, possibly, perhaps.....
