Can anyone suggest a hotel, apartment, caravan etc where we could book for a week at short notice, not too far from Sierra Golf?  We are planning to go out on the 7th July, flights available, but we can't find anywhere to stay.  We followed up a few but were booked up. 

From the messages on the site lots of you are out there at the moment, and lots of you travel on a regular basis, can you provide info on accommodation venues, costs, address, or emails etc.

For an appartment try Senoro de Roda which is quite close to SG. It is just off Junction 786 of the AP7 Motorway and very handy for Los Alcazares and the Mar Menor - we stayed there for a week just a few days ago - but you will need to hire a car - we flew with Ryanair and booked a Hertz car thru them.

We paid 300 Euros for a 2 Bed Appt and we found this on this Justins w/site under Properties for Short Term Rental.

I have an appartment on Polaris World's  La Torre which is only a couple of miles from SG.

I am waiting like you for the properties to be released but at least I have this apartment at the moment.

It is available for rent . For details see www.torregolf.co.uk . La Torre is probably the closest development to SG and if you play golf it has an excellent course.

The Hotel Costa Narejos in Los Alcazares is a good base. Right by the beach, swimming pool and 2 mins walk to good bars and restaurants. Web site is www.hotelcostanarejos.com

If you prefer renting, try www.holidayrentals.co.uk or owners direct on www.ownersdirect.co.uk  They have loads of places in Los Alcazares and Polaris World resorts. There is still a lot of availability. I have just booked an apartment on La Torre for this week at short notice and there was loads of choice!
