I appreciate that Maria but to your knowledge, have any of the Banks appealed with you or other solicitors in recently won cases?  If not, then can we expect the Banks to finally start to give us all our money back in the near future?

I am asking my office if they have seen a recent change. I know it depends on banks, development, case... but, I am trying to find if there are any general response we can now give to that question

Has anyone been able to comtact Pilar Alonso? She is our Lawyer for a claim against Almanzora Country Club but there is no reply to any emails & only on voicemail when calling.

THE NIGHTMARE CONTINUES FOR US, 11 YEARS & COUNTING…

We Heard from out solicitor today that Banco Popular have appealed against our court case that was won in February despite the supreme court ruling I keep reading about!  I don’t understand all this Spanish Legal mumbo jumbo anymore unless I’m missing something?  If the Supreme Court decision is absolute, then how can and why have Banco Popular Appealed?

When is the Sentence declared firm and final?  Has anyone else had court case won and had money returned from Banco Popular? We’re completely devastated by this, as we thought we were seeing some light at the end of the tunnel!

         This is a complete shock to me. We also won our case in February thought we would be getting our money back soon.The whole lot of it makes me sick.

I cannot think what grounds Banco Poplar won their appeal on .

I'm so sorry for everyone who entered into this contract in good faith, expecting a nice little home from home in the sun...Unfortunately this has turned into a continuous & torturous nightmare over a perioid of years which can’t be claimed back in the courts, and no one seems to being definitive about the end game here...Spain offered us all a dream and delivered us a life sentence of a nightmare!

Sorry to be so dramatic, but immensely fed up with the whole situation!

Hi Ann  We won our case in the First Instance Court against Banco Popular.  Is this the same bank your case was against?  I wonder if Banco Popular is appealing against all ACC cases against it?  

Has anyone received their money back from Banco Popular yet?

We are part of a class action against Banco Popular and were represented by White & Baos. We won our case a couple of years ago but the bank appealed and the appeal was heard in February. They lost this appeal but apparantly they can lodge another appeal with the Supreme Court. We don't think they have done this but are not 100% certain. 

We received our 40% deposit back last year, less 21,000 Euros costs. We should get costs back along with legal interest once it is all finalised but this process seems to be taking forever and we're getting really frustrated.

Hi Vic We won our case in February against Banco Popular. They had 20 working days to appeal. As far as we know they have not appealed.
