Blocks 23 and 24 were given a months notice for inspection on 27th March.

We're buying in block 19 and have been told to expect confirmation mid April.

Regards,

Gareth

We are in block 21 and were due to visit 28th April to 4th May but could not make it, even though Keymares email said they would not change the dates we are going on the 7th of May.

Looking forward to it now, not long to go.

We have today received confirmation to inspect on the 10th May.  This is for block 22 duplex phase 1.  As we can't make it ourselves (will be on a special holiday) we are paying for an inspection by a specialist company in the area. I think the cost for the inspection will work out less than flight/accommodation etc., but naturally we will miss that wonderful excitement of having the first actual visit and look around our new project.

Key Mare have been very helpful throughout all our dealings with them to date.

we received letter from keymare today(24th) saying we had to reply by the 20th for inspection visit!!!

it said that it was giving us details of the mortgage - but didn't. A few forms to fill in for electric and mortgage. anyone know what level of electric you need??

We are going to send it all to our solicitor and also Euroland (who we bought off) to see if they can tell us what it all means. I'm hoping that euroland will do the visit as we have paid them for after sales stuff.

Anyone know of anyone who looks after rental properties over there, we need someone to do ours for us as we plan to rent out as well as use ourselves.

We have just returned from the "Courtesy Visit" of our duplex in Block 23. We were told straight away it is not a snagging visit - this will be done after completion as there is no water or electricity on yet. However we pointed out a few things we were not happy with and the girl who took us around noted them and said they would be rectified.

Our property is complete and has all curtains hung and all furnishing in it - still wrapped thankfully! We were not able to see the pool or other areas as there is still too much construction in progress.

We were disappointed to find that an electricity box has been built right outside our front patio (see uploaded photo) - one of many all around the site. Apparently other visitors have already complained but we have been told nothing can be done about these. They have supposedly been reduced in size already.

Although completion has still not been confirmed they seem to think dates given will be ok and the pool and gardens "should" be finished (but not the spa).

We don't remember seeing a dishwasher in the kitchen - perhaps anyone going on a visit soon could check theirs and let us know.

Regards

Tim

On your 'snagging' visit did you get your completion date confirmed? and were the arrangements for completion arranged so that you could now book your flights. We should have had our snagging date confirmed as 11 June but have not heard yet. We are in block 9.

Dear all,

I'm in phase 2 and am due to to go on my 'courtesy' visit in July.  My solicitor is advising that I snag before completion as the developers will have little incentive to act quickly after completion.  When I receive my confirmation letter from key Mare he will be in touch with their lawyers to ensure we have adequate time to snag.  Is anyone else doing the same?

The letter we received in March said our  (unconfirmed date) inspection visit should be 14-18 May with completion in July. According to our agent, Ocean Estates, Keymare are still not prepared to confirm the dates. Very frustrating!
