Road links to Murcia

I am new to EOS so this is my first thread and having read your query re: Road link to Murcia.  On Friday 23rd March, I received a newsletter from Spain which you might find useful.

Opening AP-7 Vera-Cartagena further slowed down

In the media you were probably already informed concerning the delay of the opening of the new toll road AP-7 of Vera to Cartagena. Meanwhile the whole route is ready for use, but the motorway cannot be taken in use, because the 4 tunnels not yet satisfy to the European legislation which effected in May 2006 due to a heavy accident in a tunnel in Italy. As soon as the technical adaptations have been carried out, the motorway will be released.

Used new Ap-7 M'way Tuesday and Yesterday to / from - Murcia / Vera, very good (read very empty!).

Costs 11.50 Euros for privilige.

To get on at Vera end requires taking old motorway to First junction (Cuavas) and turning around to come back on yourself and then join new road.

See my other posting about the roads at the top of the Thallasa site and beyond, I am gussing one of these will be a slip road to / from the new Motorway? (only guessing.....)
