I woke up this morning feeling really good, I had a dream last night that I got my 50,000 back from Huma, then I realised it was April 1st. Who are we kidding here, the people who stayed with ACC no chance, the people going to court over TCC no chance, and the people who stayed with TCC will pay way over the odds for their properties. If they are getting mortgages, the banks will probably value them 50 to 60,000 below there buying price, and what will the development end up looking like MCC*!* Many thanks to Fighter for figures of the 108 million debt, what it has shown is that if Huma were to sell all 900 properties on TCC and make a nett pofit of say 25,000 per property. this would mean they would only then be in debt to the tune of 85 million euros. Do you still think you are going to get your money back, what we should all do is start criminal proceedings against Huma for theft, and at least have the satisfaction of knowing they were in prison for a number of years. If a Spanish bank made an error and put 50,000 into your account, and you spent it, you would have to either pay it back or go to jail for theft.

I also noticed the Email address, but hey where is the problem, did'nt we all suspect really. Now the MEP is a different matter, how and in what way can we give her support apart from signing a petition. So that she can show the Spanish just how many people have been used and conned, and how much money is in question. She could do that, she could set something up on the computer, where we could put down our name and how much Huma owe us individually.

Just to say that hubby and I visited Spain on Tuesday, 23rd March to Saturday, 27th.  We visited the site at Oasis Thabernax Country Club on Wednesday, 24th March - (an agreed visit with Carmen).  You will see under:  FORUM / Community photos galleries/Oasis Thabernax County Club that I have put in total 14 pictures under 3 dates for 24 March.  Workmen were indeed on site.  Carmen informed us that the water supply will be mains supplied and also all used water will be recycled and used for irrigation purposes on site.

I hope you have better luck with the promises of Huma and his agents than MCC has had for 7 years.

We still do not have a completed water infrastructure because Huma has no money to do it......

We have a sewage treatment plant but the cleaned water cannot be used because Huma has still not obtained a licence to do so.....

Who do you think pays the running of the sewage plant, the residents of course because Huma has no money.....

Do you really think he will complete Oasis..... not a prayer so save your money and look elswhere.... he is after one thing only, further payments based on false promises, lies and your desire to salvage something from the ashes.

Sadly it will not happen for you.

 It is very difficult for those of us who walked away years ago (in my case finally buying something really nice near Mojacar), but I do think you need to consider the situation at MCC very carefully.  Then look at the photographs that have been posted.  Does it look as though it is going to turn into a luxury development?  Does the quality of the work look good?  Is there a sense of what it is going to look like? (well - I think there is - and it is not very postive!!).   Then there are the other question - how easy is it to get to?  Almeria airport is a rapidly fading dream judging by the search I have just done to find flights for June!!   Hard as it may be, it might be better to just walk away from Oasis and continue to fight for your money back.  When we looked at our development, we were told the infrastructure had to be in place first, so the roads etc were built.  Looking at the photos, it is nothing more than a few blocks of very small units, with no space at the front at all - or is that the back????   No sense of where any pools might be built either.  Be very, very careful.

For those who have transfered from ACC, and, therefore, have large deposits at risk;  please consider the following:

  The  'market' value of a 2 bed property on OTCC (when finished) would probably be no more than 65000€.

  Huma, giving past history, is, probably, not going to finish the site; so it would be prudent to allow 10000€ for future expenses.

  Buying costs will be at least 13% ( making a 119000€ property cost approx. 135000€ with fees and taxes)

So, unless you are 'into' Huma for more that 60000€, you would be better off walking away (IMHO).

 I was doing my post at the same time, and I think that reidpj says what I am trying to say in a more direct way, trying not to upset anyone.  This is really not an attractive proposition.  I think reidpj is right - and I don't think I can remember agreeing with him ever before!!  

I have to refer to my previous message regarding Huma debt, based on the figures from Fighter. People who have asked for their money back because their contracts have run out, can tell you that it is worse than getting blood out of a stone. Huma building again, what with 5 or 6 workmen come on. It is to give their existing purchasers confidence to handover their second stage payments, 30, 40 or 50,000 euros. Also to suck in a few more new purchasers and get their first stage payments 30, 40 or 50,000 History speaks for itself, MCC, ACC they must be rolling in it, because they're not spending where it should be spent.

The full report that I obtained make pretty horrendous reading, Huma has 17 wholly owned companies and all of them are rated very high risk and the worst rated is Huma Indalo who are the company that are operating at Oasis.

Please don't fall into his clutches and hand over more money until he provides all that I suggested in my original post.

When Carmen says the water´'will be mains supplied' why is it not already?.... why does one of the recent pictures show a worker getting water from a blue barrel and not from a hose pipe or stand pipe.

When Carmen says all water will be treated and used for irrigation... ask why should that happen here and it has not happened at MCC, ask her also who will be responsible for operating and maintaining that sewage treatment plant, ask her also for the name of the water supplier and then go and speak with them and ask them for a water contract... they will not give you one until you have a habitacion certificate and you will be very lucky to ever get one...I don't have one and very few do here at MCC and Huma don't care ...... all of that after 7 years !!!

Perhaps he will realise one day that he cannot continue his lies and cheating of genuine and honest people from Northern Europe and indeed his own nationality..... some of his biggest enemies and critics are the Spanish that have bought properties on MCC, until then he will continue to take your cash and fail to deliver the promise and the dream.

Be smart and leave him to rot.in his own mire not your money.

Remember aside from the company indebtedness of over €100 million he has more than €750,000 of debt to individuals that he has been ordered to pay and has not nor will he, kiss goodbye to any more cash you decide to give him before he has delivered his promises and obligations.
