Great photo's Patrick & Christel - nice camera you have there.

When they were just plans on the board, I did think that La Isla would be the place to be, but in the flesh I think you lucky penthose owners with views over the rolling fairways and mountains beyond have cracked it. You are top of the pops for me, at least till the Oasis and second course appears. Not disappointed with Jardines though - each phase has it's strong points.

Regards,

Great pics- the Isla is huge and the lake looks amazing. I thought they had an infinity pool though and cant see that- see a pool .but it doesnt look like an infinity pool. Whats in the centre of the apartments- gardens, the pics show an entrance to an middle area.    Are their terraces just the same as the Penthouses?

great pics again !

Is it just me or do the apts on La Isla look to be much much greater in density than the original plans showed. Can imagine it would be pretty cramped at the pool over there in high season !

Apparently the opening of the Foro has been delayed for two weeks due to problems with telecommunications.

Details posted on www.condadodealhamaservices.com

Jeez - we don't need  phones in the pub - couple of beer fonts and a box of wine would do - where's the need for telecommunications there???

Maybe Polaris are refusing to pay their own connection charges??? Have to agree with you though, just open the bar and I'll take my own beer!

I agree

Something else I've been thinking - When is the Supermarket going to open then? If there isn't one Jardines then where will people buy food?

Have they actually shut the original one then?

If that's the case we will have to stop on route when we arrive Saturday

Just come back today. The original supermarket is still stocked and running just fine. It is also air conditioned now which was really needed.

Has anyone any knowledge as to why the large lakes on the golf course seem to have run dry with no sign of them filling up? Also, is it expecte that the whole of the course will be green or are there to be large areas of desert inbetween the fairways as is the case currently. I am no golfer but there seems to be a lot more work to be done before the course will be playable.

Overall, the place is getting a liitle busier ut more people need to complete to give  it more life.

Just some of my thoughts.

I am not an M&E engineer nor do i know the Foro installation spec but maybe the communication systems are vital for the operation of the tills, chip and pin machines, fire systems, sercurity alarms and maybe even centralised ordering systems etc.

With regard to the ponds as this is a top course and I would guess they have designed the course to incorporate a water harvesting system in response to environment guidelines and standards (maybe not spanish law but european golf tour requirements maybe).  I would imagine at this initial/vital growing stage the course is water hungry (thirsty) therefore if they can utilise the pond water for the sprinkler systems they will. As they can run the ponds right down while the course is not open they will as this will save costs. the only reason the ponds were probably filled to start with would be to check the linings.

As I said these are only my views and i could be completely wrong but i hope this might sooth the frustration a little.

Rodin.

Its all "word on the street"  someone spoke to customer service who said course changed so 18th by Foro, buggy park opposite Foro and they will convert empty unit into club house. , that is all I got so far, better than temp club house i suppose
