Telephone service - not so good news

At the other PW resorts, if you opt for just incoming external calls, plus internal calls on the resort, there is no line rental charge.

Having just emailed Polaris World telecom, it's not looking like we're getting the same service - the reply states that if we want to receive external calls then we will have to pay a  line rental

This would have saved us and our callers a small fortune. The caller from the UK would have paid 0.5p per minute and we would have paid nothing.

They also said it could be up to 2 months before the service was available.

Very disappointing.

        Was out last week and asked the same question about the telephones and as you say you need to pay for line rental.I said that on other resorts you can receive calls however the response was that this will not be possible on Condado.

When I said i was advised of this when I bought my apartment 2 years ago she simply shrugged her shoulders and said it is what it is.

I then said Polaris are changing there minds every month about things which again she replied no its every day.I had to smile and leave at this point.
