Disney looking for land

Can anyone confirm the recent rumours that Disney are once again looking to purchase land in the Manilva area, or is this just another misunderstanding?

There's been previous threads about this, so it might be worth doing a search.  Basically, it is a load of rubbish.  All the agents were using this false rumour to help persuade people to buy property in the Manilva area.

There was a rumour Disney were coming to herrera. They even put an AVE station here in the middle of nowhere, nothing has hppened though!!

There IS some truth to the rumour that Disney (or their agents) were looking for land in the Manilva area, and it appears that some land was purchased, however this was for a proposed children's 'Summer Camp' style activity park 'based' on the Disney theme.

Indeed there was some media interest at the time back in 2007.

It is perceivable, that due to the current slump in land prices in this area, that such companies may persue a vigorous purchase of land, even if it is just a speculation as to what the future may hold!

I thought the rumour was that Michael Owen was buying up the land, to build a theme park, to subsidise his reduced footballing income.
