tax office for 210 forms

I am over in formentera del segura for a quick visit next week.

can anyone tell me where is the nearest tax office to collect

the 210 tax forms,stickers and envelopes as I am going to try

and do my own tax calculation instead of paying a solicitor.

also do I have to take any I.D. with me. also do I have to pay

for these items.

Go to the tax office web site:

www.aeat.es

On there, somewhere, will be a list of all the tax offices.Just look for one near you, or e-mail them and ask.

You can collect your 210 pack from them and will pay a Euro or so for one pack

You won't need ID

the pack includes the 210 Form and the envelope

The stickers have to be applied fror online and will be posted to your Spanish address.

If you take copy of your NIE to the tax office you can obtain your stickers at the same time.  You can fill in the form online at www.aeat.es.  and print off the form then take it to the bank, but you still need to obtain your stickers either using the online system or going to the tax office.  The bank have envelopes to use if you choose to pay there.

My experience of getting a tax envelope from your bank when you pay the tax, is a big "No"

I have tried this on a few occaisions and each time they tell you they don't stock them, you have to provide it yourself.

They get quite shirty about you asking!

So, anyone paying their own taxes, please don't rely on your bank supplying the envelope.

You must just be unlucky with your bank.  My customers tell a different story, I have only come across 2 occasions in the last year where banks have not had envelopes available, with over 100 who have satisfactorily carried out the transaction.  With more and more people paying their own taxes though, the banks may run out from time to time.  In the eventuality that no envelope is available, I am happy to hand the form into the tax office for my customers on their behalf.

My bank is Bankinter, they actually look shocked when you ask for an envelope!

They then say, "we don't hold any envelopes here, you have to have one when you come to pay".

Maybe this is just Bankinter?

It would be interesting if anyone else can tell us if they get their envelopes supplied at their bank.

I have contacted my bank (banco halifax) and have been informed

that I cannot pay there.

they told me to go to bankinter,la caixa or cam bank to pay.

as I do not have an account with any of these banks does anyone

know if I will have to pay a fee for this service.??

I would say there is no charge.............

I pay my taxes in cash at Bankinter, they just do the transaction, no probs.

They don't ask for ID, so don't know I am a customer or not.

So that means anyone can go in and providing you are pay ing in cash, no questions asked.
