Hi Sharon - next time you are down in the summertime, go to Bonos beach, el Rosario. Beach beds etc much cheaper than in Marbella, great service and good food too. Apparently the mojitos are fab!

Well funny you should mention Bono's Beach because we discovered that on our last visit in June and go there almost everyday. We take our own umbrella and chairs and make camp to the left of the beautiful double beds holding the beautiful people with the beautiful tans and go up to the bar for regular refreshment (just so we don't suffer from dehydration!) and a bite to eat. The food is really good, a little expensive I think but I've always enjoyed everything I've ordered.
I've never found that part of the beach over crowded. The lady who we bought the apartment from recommended it to us. Perhaps on the next visit we can meet you there for a drink?

Go slightly further afield - to Meson calahonda in El Zoco, Calahonda. Well worth the added taxi fare.
