It has entered into force on last July 7th. Being the main novelty that the tourist houses need a report of the city Council that proves that the house can be used for the tourist traffic.

Definition: The dwellings of tourist use are defined as "the complete real estates, whatever their typology, that, having the municipal report of urban development compatibility that allows such use, they are yielded by price habitually in conditions of immediate availability and for tourist, holiday or leisure purposes. "

What is considered habitual? 

(1) When the property is transferred for tourist use by management companies of tourist housing or
(2) This is made available to users by their owners or, irrespective of the period for which it is rented and provided that they provide services of the hotel industry or
(3) Where tourist marketing channels are used and is carried out through tour operators or any other tourist sales channels, including the Internet or other new technology systems.

Is this novelty traffic thingy in addition to holiday rental licence? Canny netty, that, like. And if so how do you get it?

If you own a property on Camposol ...and it is classed as a Residence... The likely hood of you getting a Turistca licence are very slim ...as the allotted number of Turistca licenses have already been issued for Camposol ...hence the term Touristic or residence being on you Escutura (deeds)....if you are letting out to holiday makers without a Tourist licence/liability insurance /not registered as a business/not paying Tax on the profit.. be very carfull ...you don't get Denounced by the permanent Residents around you.
