Hi does anyone know how to check if your car has been transfered as i dont have any paperwork to prove i sold it

I'm guessing seanyboy sold to a dealer who said they'd handle the transfer and registration to a new owner when they sell it on? If so, he should at least have a sale document from the dealer.
You can get an "informe" from Tráfico - basically a document detailing among other things who the current registered owner is. There is a fee (€8.30 I think) which you can pay at any bank (the online payment system didn't work last time I tried) and then go to a Tráfico office to collect it.
