Furniture Store Recommendations

Just bought our first place not too far from Murcia, and am starting the task of furnishing it top to bottom. We've found the usual suspect stores like Ikea and DFS, and stumbled across Maison du Monde, but most of this has been by chance and reading some of the other threads here.

Does anyone have any recommendations for furniture stores in the area (or that would deliver to the area) that they had good experiences with? In particular we're really struggling to find a decent mattress shop. I suppose we're looking for the Spanish equivalent of Dreams if such a thing exists!

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

On FB on a Los Alcazares group a lot of people rate 'Fred the bed ' , he owns the store. Worth a look.

I'm can recommend DFS. They are the same as the one in the U.K and charge the same prices as the UK deliveries when you want. So UK made.

Bed stores in La Zenia selling high quality memory foam etc. THe up to Torriejva where there are various large stores doing beds,  sofas and kitchen stuff. Hermandes Garcia comes to mind

JYSK in the Punta Marina (Punta Prima) Commercial Centre, next to Mc Donald's, by the roundabout with the two tall steel girders with what looks like two hooked fingers at the top, N332 driving towards Torrevieja ,North direction, opposite the large Hotel on the right.

This store has a very good selection of mattresses  and bedding, and a good mixed selection of furniture and homewares, well worth the look even if nothing is to you're own style.

Conforama at La Zenia Boulivard, just bought new there, lots of choice to try

Problem with Conforama nothing is ever in stock, you always have to return days layer just to pick up small items as was our experience 3  times

correct always check stock which it is easier to do online

DFS (UK) have recently bought a share of DFS Spain but it's not the same company..eg. discounts for DFS UK can't be used in DFS San Javier. Much of the furniture is made in Spain. however I would recomend this store which i've used a lot over the past few years

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. In the end we bought from Conforama at La Zenia Boulevard. The range of beds and prices was decent and we managed to find the right mattress and base. Surprisingly both items were in stock so we're expecting delivery in the next 15 days. Also impressed with the range of other stuff at the store, and distracted by the other shops in the centre!
