How can i get busness exchage rate instead of tourest rate when topping up my spanish account, would anyone out there know this. thanks

We never transfer money from the UK to Spain, there is always a cost. Instead we top up our account with cash when we are in Spain. Drawing cash at Santander Spain from a UK Santander current account will give you the full commercial exchange rate with no fees to pay.

Transferwise - I have been using them for over a year - have tried all the other well known currency brokers - some of them give you a good rate when you first sign up with them, then reduce it later. You usually get within 1 cent of the commercial rate.
