Im having real problems logging on, lost my forums and cant get them back. Has anyone else had the same problems?

I have no idea what happened. I woke up, pottered down stairs, zipped a cup of tea, pressed the ON button, tried to log on and it went down hill from there!!
But the good news is my forums are back but ive got a completely different username so better go and re-introduce myself!!!

So, Justin, there is obviously at least one advantage to using Mac OS X - I admit I did have to log in at one point (and as it's been so long since I had to I wondered what my password was!!), but when I did remember, I logged in no problem and haven't had an incidence at all since!! Woooooo!!! There you go, Tiger!! Wonder what will happen when I have a Leopard!!!

I cant get back on under tinasolera. i think its because spanishbikini has gone under my outlook express address and the old username - tinasolera was under the hotmail address. The computer is automaically signing me in under spanish bikini now. I tried to change it to tinasolera but it says username already exists. Oh i give up. Im not great on computers and i will end up bashing it if i try anymore. So for now im spanishbikini but when we get to Spain and to an internet cafe i guess i could try again under tinasolera. Ive made a right old pickle of this havn't I??????

Tina, try clearing your cache and then signing in under Tinasolera - hopefully it should work. Just clear all info and sign in under your old info and you, hopefully, shouldn't have a problem. Tinasolera is under a "webmail" address (your hotmail address) and spanishbikini is using your subscription address (outlook express is a windows application that requires a subscription to a net connection).
Give it a go and see what happens!!

the username isnt in a cache to clear. The username just appears in bold writing with no window / link to clear it.
Im sure if i went on another computer my old username would work.
Oh well.
Got a new bikini for Spain yesterday so spanishbikini will have to do for now. But thanks for the advice.
At least i got the forums back now anyway

Got sorted.... have my old username back. I dont know how i got into this mess but manged to sort myself out. Im sure it was probably something that i did as no-one else had the same problem so dont worry about investigating it.... all sorted!!!! in fact i have a funny feeling that when i had to sign back in that morning i kept putting my email address in and not my username and then all went downhill from there..... mornings are not always my strongest time of day!!!

Just looked at this thread and got a whole load of run time error and lots of numbers and squiggles, so tried again and got the thread........................so what was that all about?
