We have been paying our IBI on direct debit without a problem in marbella. However we need a copy of the actual invoice for tax purposes. It seems that we havent received an actual bill. Do we need to contact marbella tiwn hall to get a copy? Or do we have to visit them in person? Any reason why we are no longing receivibg a bill? Thanks Kerry

If the bills are issued by Town Hall then I suggest best to go in person. Otherwise in some areas the bills are issued by Suma. You visit their website google suma in case I cant post a link and send them e-mail requesting copies which can be sent by e-mail also. You will need to identify yourself NIE/Passport and property. Good luck.

Can you not download a copy of the payment from your online bank? I know we can for our bills, La Caixa.

Go to the Hacienda section of the Town Hall with your Escritura and NIE.
Ask them to print it off their system.
I do this, every year before I go to the bank to pay it.
Doing this gives you proof of payment with the stamp from the Bank.
