Car Rental Question

All:
I'll be visiting the Alicante area in August for 2 weeks and will need a car. I don't want your typical Econobox though - I want something a little more exotic such as the VW Scirrocco, Audi S3, Focus RS, a nice little Alfa Romeo, and so on. In short, a hot-hatch which goes like a privy door when the plague is in town.
Any pointers as to which car rental companies can/will offer a car like this? Thanks.

will be tough, but i think big boys like hertz or europcar may help

The best deals can be got through brokers. Their car rental rates are generally very competitive. Recently my friend used the services of Pointcarhire and was glad with their rates. You may try renting a car with them.
