The best deals can be got through brokers. Their car rental rates are generally very competitive. Recently my friend used the services of Pointcarhire and was glad with their rates. You may try renting a car with them.

Tarifa is really wonderful. It is a long time now when I visited there and I must say that its beaches are really spectacular and it offers wonderful views of the mountains.

Of course Spain is expensive. But by following little things the travelers can reduce their expenses a lot. Some of the tips to reduce expenses are - share accommodation or stay in hostels; buy discount cards for entry to museums or other attractions; do all the bookings for flights, car rental or hotels well in advance whether you are traveling in peak season or not.

Basically the brokers have tie ups with various suppliers and give you the best deal. Recently a friend booked with bestspaincarrental. It is also a broker firm but has tie ups with well known suppliers like Alamo, Thrifty .... He got very reasonable deal and given Alamo car at rent and if you look at the facilities that are included in the rates then you can see that they are very customer friendly.
