N I E numbers?

 do these take up to four to five weeks? need to present yourself to the local police fill in the form and then go back four weeks time, to get your number!

looking to settle down in fuerteventura, but its a night mare can't rent if you have not got one of these numbers, looking to get my daughter in to school for september, i need to enrol her in April, any fast track way of doing this, as i am in sunny govan glasgow.

any info would be great!

I take it you are looking to get her into an international school as you certainly don't need to enrol in April for the next academic year in the Spanish state schools.  If you plan to apply for residency, as you should, you have a legal entitlement for free state schooling - indeed it is obligatory on you to send her - between the ages of six and sixteen.  But I still find it surprising that international schools would have an April deadline.
