Can you define 'broken?'
Is it cracked? or has it gone haywire with lots of purple / green / black horizontal stripes / streaks (Seriously!)
Some cameras in the finepix range were subject to a product recall although your particular camera falls outside of the recalled products.
There is a Fujifilm Service Centre in Barcelona, that may be able to help...

Also found in Spanish Yellow pages a camera repair. sales and service agency in Elche, Alicante link here.
Of course its in Spanish but the google translate site should help if you need it.

Thank you so much for both these posts. We're about to move down to Andalucia, but live near Elche, so we might try to go there. The LCD's cracked. I think it might have swung and hit something. I'd really like to get it repaired if I possibly can. I'll let you know what happpens, and thank you again for all your help.. Donna
