Reputable car dealers in Valencia

Hi everybody

We will be moving to Valencia in the next few months and will be looking for a descent cheapish car. We will not be looking for a British car, so does anyone know of a good second-hand car dealer around the Valencian area?

Hi Hotdog!! I live in the Valencia area and don't know any good car dealers ... I don't think they exist!! hahaha that said, I am moving back to the UK this month and have a nice Citroen Saxo 1.5D for sale. I have owned the car for the last 4 years and it has been well looked after. It passed it's ITV in June/July without problems and has never let me down. I recommend the big car hire companies.

Try Atesa which is the leasing arm of Citroen.

But offer a lot less than they ask.

Their cars always come fully serviced/repaired and with warranty etc.

Second hand car dealers anywhere are always a bit dodgy!

I looked on the website to buy an ex rental car but could not see any options to purchase.

Just in case anyone is looking for a nice, reliable, cheap to run car ..... I have one for sale!!! It's a silver Citroen Saxo 1.5 Diesel, very tidy and has it's ITV until June 2011. I have owned it for about 4 years and it's never let me down, my husband is a mechanic and anything that has ever needed doing has been done immediately. It's only for sale as I am moving back to the UK, otherwise I would have it for another 4-5 years!! Very economical to run and maintain.

This is Spain and business is done differently!

You have to go to the office and see the man and then haggle!

Car dealers sometimes buy these cars mark-up and re-sell as they do at the auctions in the UK.

Just pop into one of their main office at the airport and they will tell you where to go. They normally have somewhere off-site where all the cars are stored etc
