During the recent rains  my apartment was damaged by water from the flooded terrace above. The problem is due to either broken linings and/or blocked drains not being cleared. The community insurers are not paying because the are saying it is due to the drains not being cleared. My own isurance company are not willing to carry out repairs until the problem is resolved. The property above is a rental property and currently empty. The owner has not answered e mails. My question is can I place an injunction on the property being rented out until the problem is resolved so as to prevent further damage.
