Probably stupid question bout Ryan air and departing different airports

We too have just returned from Spain and having looked at the options of transferring i.e Oasis and Mazzaron we have decided enough is enough and are going to try for our money back. We would be interested to now which solicitor you have used AndyLynn, we are with Aldea but have little trust in using them again.

I have just read with disbelief and horror the story of the lady who was manhandled in the HUMA offices. We signed a power of attorney with Aldea a year ago, but after hearing these stories I feel we have no realistic option but to try and get our money back. We are in the fortunate position of having BG's for both stage payments, but does anyone know the timescale and procedure for doing this, as I am reluctant to rely on Aldea alone.

We also have bank guarantees but the bank is refusing to co-operate. We have been trying to get a refund since January 2006.

We thought our money was safe with a guarantee, but really this means nothing to the Spanish who make up their own rules as they please. 

What I am about to write may bear no substance or resolution, but I just wanted to say to everyone ...

It's such a shame this Spanish project is a complete disaster, because each and everyone one of you are showing such strength and determination - we are all working so hard with team effort, helping and assisting.

We would have been fantastic living together as a communitity ... what a shame our dream is fading.

I know a few of the posts have rattled some of us, but we are all trying to come to terms with how badly we have been treated and voice what we believe to be valid opinions. Hopefully, one day we will look back on this and realise we were right to stick up and be heard.

Our bank guarantee was issued by Banco de Valencia in Mazarron. Our solicitor has issued a written request for the refund of stage payments. The solicitor has told us that the bank is refusing to answer his calls and does not return any other messages. So, in effect they have not given a reason for not refunding us, they simply ignore us. This has been going on since November . Does anyone have any ideas ??

I would have thought the most obvious one is to make sure your Bank Guarantee is still in date. Secondly change solicitors. Maybe go for one who someone can recommend and has had good experience with getting monies back.

Apart from the basics above i do not think you can do anymore. If there was a way to reclaim monies there would not be many,many people in the same position.
