Just browsed a website for all Polaris World developments near to SG, and now I don't feel so bad after all !! SG definitely not alone with completion issues but we know its looking better all the time.  Wish google earth had an updated view though - still showing bare mud where people are now living.

Looking forward to some great photos of all you on SG at midnite 2 nite - enjoy!

Happy New Year to you both. I have still not managed to meet you yet, though I did meet Sue , and Fran met you both at Barry and Sylvia's . We have just got onto Broadband on Fri. 28th - we have not been able to communicate via this w/site since we moved here in mid Oct. , so we now have a lot of catching-up to do.

We are sort-of having open house here from 11pm tonite to see in the New Year Spanish style ! Everyone is welcome !

You are So right - Polaris World developments have their problems, but I feel for different reasons than you mention. We stayed at Le Torre in September, the Townhouse had a 'wall' rear villa view, and a front where a baby's bath would be a pool! The ceiling leaked in the patio (thru the ligh fitting), and rising damp was everywhere. OK, SG has its problems, GM and all their faults, lack of HC's, electricity etc.,etc., but I think that I'll stick with what we have (or will have), they look a far better proposition, and at half the price.

I'd settle for the euro being at 65c, what it was when we put down the deposits, but don't hold your breadth. Trouble is the'wait for the rate to fall' time is now running short.

Anyway, what the hell, we're nearly there, and so, to our neighbours at SG, Tony & Janet, Lil & Pete, and SG'er's everywhere at SG, and not yet at SG, and any prospective SG'ers (forget PW),

Will put pictures of the fence Pete & myself have done to our gardens at the rear of the our Villa´s it really looks great and blends in well I`m sure you will like it, we have started pricing for fencing work, had a few people interested.

Hi Tony & Janet,

Thanks for that, mate, glad to see that they are getting it ready for us. We will be down on saturday night, staying at Le Torre Golf resort again (with lovely views over the course!!), so saturday night will be spent in the Irish Bar there , as we won't get in till around 8.pm. Will be down at SG on the Sunday, so will pop in to see you all then. 

We are viewing the Albatros on Monday and signing on Tuesday,  Although we are booked in at Le Torre, for the week, we will be at SG daily (its only 5 mins away), and intend to spend the last 2 days in the Villa - so look forward to having (more than) a few beers in the mud (I mean, our garden) over the weekend.

Keep the beer chilled !

Well things are looking good for you they put your electric meter on yesterday, the elecrtric guys have been on site for a couple of days so things are looking great and they have almost finished the driving range should be up and running any day now.

Just might meet you in the bar on Staurday night, found a great fish and chip place in Roldan.

Glad to hear that things are moving  down there. At least it looks like we won't have to go through what you both had to, when you first moved in - no lecky, no hot water etc.,etc.,
