I'm told by my lawyer that everything is in place for completion, ie:- all paper work and connection to water, electric etc so we set a date for hand over, it was suppose to be 18th Dec 'BUT' guess what, yes you've guessed it, Masa has decided to cancel all hand overs until late jan 2008, am I ok with that no I'm f.........g not, still nothing I or my lawyer can do about it.

I'm told that SG is looking good and quite bright at night with all the street lights, blackpool was mentioned by one person! maybe I will get to see for myself sometime in 2008..9..10 who knows.

I know it's a silly question, but have Masa given any reason for the delay in handovers?

Rosemary

Don't know about Habitation Certificates, but elect and water are available on 13-14-15-16, but only after you have signed and paid the connection fees. We are living on 14, there are quite afew living on the others mentioned and more seem to be arriving each week. The Elect was only connected last week after we staged a sit in at the site office,it was quite funny really the people in the office started to panic and after a couple of phone calls the meters arrived but we refused to move until they were fitted and working, it took about three hours before the first power was switched on we then dispersed telling them we would be back if they didn't complete the job. We now have TV and a form of telephone landline is available also internet is being made available so things are really moving now, there is also a bread delivery van in the mornings and certain essential items of grocery's are also available in fact if they haven't got what you want they will get it for the next day this isn't an official service just a helpful thing operated just to get them a foothold on site. Look forward to seeing you all on site very soon. Cheers Raycarol Eagle 14-14

Hi Rosemary,

Why has Masa stopped all hand overs until Jan 2008? I think they call it "The Christmas break" in laymans terms it means "They can't cope with the amount of people wanting to buy their villa".

Hi Raycarol,

Nice to know that everything is ok for you now, I knew that the flow of utilities depended on payment, (we paid ours months ago) my lawyer tells me that if you have'nt paid then you wont have a meter!! Anyway on a much lighter side Annemarie and myself wish you and everybody else at SG over christmas a very merry chrimbo and a much happier new year, we hope to see you all soon.

Roger & Annemarie.

You can legally refuse to take pocession if there is no Certificate of Habitation issued on the property

Lawyers will advise you not to complete without one
