Hi all

Just to keep you in touch, after we had our electric connected yesterday we had to go out for a while when we got back we found out that they hadn`t  connected everyone so we was going back over to the office for another sit-in but Roger & Trish went over the office early and was told that the rest would be connected today, we will see if not we will be back over there all 18 of us.

We are not on builders supply the meter is on and ticking thank goodness, not sure how many they have connected but they were also working at properties that have not be taken over yet. they did say that some would be connected without meters not sure if these are the ones not taken over yet or not, I will go round today and see if they are doing them all or not and let you know soon, will try and find out more about when they are going to issue the H/certificate's.

There's still no street lights on, don't think they will be on until the whole of that area is finished and handed over. the lady in the office said there will only be one swimming pool on site and that's on M11, (apart from the one at the Hotel and the one's in your gardens) she also said there is going to be a pitch & putt on one of the green areas (the green area opposite M15 and Abril28 show house) I wonder what they are going to put on the other one.

Will be back on line in a day or so.

Regards

Tony & Janet

Just because there is a meter it does not mean that you are not on builders supply as developers sometimes fit their own meters

Has anybody asked if this is builders supply

Check your bank to see if they have taken the connection fee, if not, it will be builders supply

Also if you do npt have a Certificate of Habitation they will not cnnect up offically

Have you had the main breaker fuse fitted internally

I have a main circuit breaker fitted within an enclosure that is sealed. This feeds the rest of the distribution board.

Regarding payment for the meter, we have paid 360euros for water and electricity connections, if there is an additional cost I have yet to be told about this.

Hi All

They are only connecting the electric and putting in meters if you have signed.

Yes we have a sealed fuse and was told it is not buiders supply by the lady in the sales office but she told us loads of different stories. There are still 4 people on site without electric and we went over again and promised today, wait and see.

If this is not builders supply the law in Spain, and the utility suppliers, legally cannot make a permanent connected to supplies until after you have completed on, and actually own the property

It may be worth calling Iberdrola to ask them if you now have an account setup

This is why they have to have your bank details, NIE number and payment before they connect up

I know that this is a strange rule but it is how it works which is why ofeten on a first snagging inspection power and water are not connected so we have to go back after completion to test the circuits
