Hi,
Can any of you advise who you use to do the management service and/or cleaning and keyholding service. We were going through the Company we bought from, but now MRI are advising that we need a UK health and safety certificate which costs a whopping £2,000. Unless you buy their expensive furniture package and it included!!!!! So we need to find a reliable alternative.
I know that a few of you advertise with owners direct. Any information you can give us is appreciated.
We also need to have a deep clean done and oversee the furniture installation and snagging. I have a few details but am comparing costs and services.

Hi, You should ask your lawyer regarding the certificate. It is never a good idea to get legal advice from an estate agent or a lawyer that is connected or recommended by the estate agent, you should never do it. Get an independant lawyer that will act soley on your behalf.

Just read your note about UK Health and Safety certificate, we have never heard of this after owning in Spain for 5 years. I have checked on the internet and can find no reference.
In the UK you need a Gas certificate for letting I am just going thru this process and my letting agent tells me its about £60.
If you did need any certificates I am sure the builders would have to supply them on a new build, just like the Corgi installation in the UK for gas.
